Office Hours: MWF 10:30-11:30AM and 1:15-1:45PM. Also available by appointment. 

Professor Coscia interests includes public policy, public administration and municipal government leadership.  She teaches courses in American government, public policy, public administration, political institutions and urban politics. Professor Coscia strives to incorporate applied activities into each class. 

Professor Coscia's public sector experience include participating in the Washington Semester Program at American University, serving as a Capitol Hill intern for Congressman Edward Markey, a legislative aide in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, two terms as an elected member of the Wakefield Planning Board and as an appointed member of the Wakefield Fair Housing Partnership Committee.   

Professor Coscia was the 2017 recipient of the Award for Distinguished Academic Leadership and Outstanding Service to the Students of UMass Boston presented by the Undergraduate Student Government.
