Additional Information
In addition to teaching, Tracy Dunne is actively involved in research. She is currently a co-Investigator on a multi-year/multi-project grant, “Effect of Visual Signal Strength on Alzheimer Cognition,” funded by the National Institutes of Health. Her role on this project is to investigate the impact of visual deficits resulting from Alzheimer’s disease on real world social activities and to develop accommodations that can improve performance on these instrumental activities of daily living. Her research is exciting because the environmental modifications employed can and do directly benefit both patients and their caregivers.
